We have a 2019 OS 355. The fan on the cabin AC unit went bad. The unit is accessed via aft berth access panel on a shelf above the vacuflush components. The AC unit is so tight, it can't be rotated to access the outboard side (where the fan is located). There isn't enough room to remove the unit because the space between the shelf and the top of the access panel is too small. Our Air Conditioning Tech is considering sawing the shelf and pulling it downward in hopes it will allow the AC unit to slide down far enough to reach the fan on the back side (then rebuilding the shelf).
Is there an easier way to gain access ?
