2000 - 3070 Offshore CC question???

Postby On Poynte » Fri May 11, 2018 5:43 pm

I just bought the Offshore CC with Evinrude 300 HP G2

Does anybody have experience with the boat at higher rates of speed, 28-30 knots or more, the boat gets squirrely and very effected by the slightest tap of the trim tab

I feel that the boat doesnt settle right in , meaning with the tabs up, and i accellerate the boat wants to almost swerve or list ??

any answers? I feel its like the steering issue, but fluid is fine.

Ive tried all positions of the tabs and motor tilt?

Thanks guys, im ready to call Pursuit and ask them.

2000 - 3070 Offshore CC question???

I have delivered a lot of Pursuits over the years and I have noticed what you are describing. At high speeds they are very tender. try trimming the engines out some at speed and see if that helps, then use the tabs to fine tune side to side. It will run better with the bow a bit high.
