2150 Walkaround

Postby buoychuk » Mon Mar 21, 2011 2:30 pm

Hi all! currently having my first boat surveyed before purchase is complete! As the subject says the boat is a 1996 walkaround 2150 it has a 200hp merc optimax of similar vintage and a 9.9 kicker. Can anyone tell me about the boat and what i can look forward toor any possible problems to look for?? I am very anxious to get my survey back.

Have a 1993 with a Merc 175. Have only had it for 4 months and have seen no model-specific problems to worry about. As with all older boats the transom and deck should be checked by the surveyor for a solid core. When you water test you should expect 45-50mph with that motor if it's running strong and propped correctly.
