2550 Center Consol cuddy

Has anyone gone thru a repower of a 2550 with Verado or four strokes? Currently looking at a pair of 175 L4 Verado's and wondering about performance after switching from 225 two strokers. :captain:

I dunno what brand 2 strokes you have, but a quick search of 225 OX66's says 493lbs, and Verado's 175 at 510lbs, so comparable in weight, but your loosing 100 HP. I would guess your boat does mid 50's to upper 50's with 225? So prob upper 40's with the loss in HP?
