Proper prop selection

Postby dbarneski » Sun Jun 30, 2019 8:53 am

I just bought a beautiful 1995 Pursuit 2150 with a blown motor. I installed a 2007 Suzuki DF175 outboard on it that I had on my old boat. The prop is a 14 5/8 x 23 and is a real turd!! Can't get above 3k rpm. Grandkids had a blast me not so much! I read an old post that someone used a Mercury Mirage 14 3/4 x 21 and had good results. I was wondering if anyone has any input on the subject.

Call ken at prop gods. He will ask you some questions about your boat and make a recommendation. Then you can swap out if needed. Depending on where you are he will come to you if you are close enough I believe and let you try out some props
