Correct Outboard Shaft Length 1993 2150 Walk Around
I have a 1993 2150 Walk Around that came with a Johnson 225 Ocean Runner. I don't think this is the original motor that came with the boat. The motor appears to have a 35 inch shaft, which I have determined from the serial number of the Johnson motor.
Since I have had a few issues with the engine, I am beginning to look around for a 4 stroke motor to repower this boat since the rest of the boat is in very nice condition. I have a hard time believing that the best shaft length for this boat is 35 inches. Would anyone know what the proper shaft length should be? I am looking at a few 25 inch Suzuki's and I want to make sure they will fit properly.
Thanks,
Bill
