Overhead flourescent & Microwave

Postby flygirl » Wed Aug 10, 2011 9:03 am

I'm greedy...TWO questions!!
Does anyone know how to access/remove/replace the hardtop light on the 3070 Express?

Next---my Samsung microwave is secured by two brackets that are secured to the side of the microwave. The touchpad of the oven isn't working and I may need to replace the oven. How do I secure the brackets to the replacement oven? Also---is the oven hardwired or is just plugged into an outlet above and behind the fridge?

The fluorescent light above the helm? Unscrew the two screw at either end of the aluminum casing fixed to the aluminum tube framing. Once you have that off, pull apart in a twisting motion. Also at the SB side you will have to disconnect the wiring to the ballast.
If you strip the screws like i did, then drill them out and replace with bigger ones.

The brackets on mine were attached with rivets. Just drill out the rivets. Remove the brackets. Place the new oven and lay the brackets against it and mark. Drill and viola. Done.
