Pursuit 3070

Postby IrvingVet » Fri Aug 10, 2012 2:12 pm

I am changing my dream form a Tiara 3100 Open to a Pursuit 3070 with outboards. I think this will give me an advantage with outboards over the Crusaders on gas, etc. I Would love to have the diesels in a Tiara Open but impacts the price. I will be looking for a 2001 to 2005. Live in Annapolis area in case anyone has seen a boat in great condition only.

Any thoughts on the different boats and does anyone know headroom in the cabin of a 3070 Offshore. Perfect space would be 6ft3in

Thanks

Did you look at the Pursuit 3000 Express, 1999-2003? Like in this link:http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/2002/Pursuit-3000-Express-2453891/Brick/NJ/United-States
I own a diesel version and we love the boat. Very economical also with the diesels. I average less than 7 gallons per hour for the season. I feel it is a better layout inside also.

Thanks for the information. I will check out the Pursuit 3000. My friends are pushing me towards outboards because the savings on gas which is why I am looking at Pursuit. I just love the layout of a Tiara 3100. Thanks for your assistance. I am 6:2 and would enjoy space in a cabin.

Here is a 30 with diesels and low hours in NJ. If you look at a gas powered version stay away from mercruiser powered 30s as they had problems with water ingestion. Crusader gas engines are ok.
