I just bought this boat , and i heard a rumor about water going thru the side vents and causing fiberglass damage .. Has anybody have any info. Thanks

I am guessing the 30 Offshore. I did hear of leaking air intakes and coring getting soft because of that. You can check the sealant around the boxes and see how it looks. If the sealant looks good I would not worry about it. Also contact Pursuit with the HID and see what they have to say.

What intakes and boxes? The main engine room intake "plenums" molded into the side of the hull, or the Blower Intake/Outlet vents the have the screw on covers over them. Verify what model your speaking of whether it be the 30'-3000 Offshore (12' Beam) or 3000 Express (10'6" Beam), Both were produced at same time and had several overlapping years. Easiest way to answer is do you have a windshield? Pic in signature is a Offshore model.

I am curious, because if it is the Offshore model, I would like to investigate it on my boat...

It must be the Express only. That is what I have and the air intakes on the side of the hull are not molded in as one piece, they are screwed and sealed.

:flag: my 30ft pursuit ex , does't respond very good when docking without giving a lot of throttle....thinking of more of a cup on the props 19x19x5c tops out @48000 31.5kts
