2870 galley sink upgrade

Postby Tclaude » Tue Jun 25, 2013 9:48 am

Good day All,
For those who have the worthless little sink in your pursuit galley, there is a fix. I finally got feed-up with not being able to wash a plate in the little oval fiberglass sink and replaced it with a Scandvik model 10993 SS sink. I was able to cut out the old one and lay in the replacement without much trouble.Ordered the sink from yachtsupplyDepot for $155.00 and picked up a new SS drain with screen from boat owners warehouse for $5.95...I reused the original focuet and just moved it back a few inches.

Now when spending night or weekend on the hook we can actually wash a few plates!
