1989 21' pursuit

I am looking at buying a 1989 21' cc pursuit. It is being sold with a 200 evinrude 200 ocean pro engine. They are asking $7900 for this boat? With the age is this a good price for this boat? From the pictures i have seen the condition of the boat looks very good. I could also get a 1994 20' aquasport with a 175 for $5500. The pursuit looks like a nicer boat and in bettter condition and the one i am favoring. Any advice on the boat or the engine would be greatly appreciated

That is a great price , i own a 86 2200 express with a 99 200 evinrude ocean pro great motor for the time its never let me down fishing it hard... the teak alone on the 80's boats from pursuit are worth way more the the 80's aquasports lol go for it

Vessel Info: I am a new owner of a C2200 Center console boat with a single ocean pro 200 outboard Johnson. It's been sitting for a few years so I'm trying to put it together little by little. I want to restore it all original. My hull number is SSUC2260E98 I think that the numbers for what I can see. Is there anyone that can give me more info on this hull. I've had it for a ride and it is sweet and fast.
Thanks for allowing me in this group, hope that I can get some feed back on where I can get original parts for the restoration.

It's funny I used to own a 21.5 Aquasport with a cuddly and traded up to a C2200 Pursuit the 200 ocean pro runs like a dream. If I were you I would get the pursuit. Besides the aquasport doesn't handle seas that well.
