Taking on water

I have a 2470 Center Console. The boat has always been very dry - bilge never runs. Today I was offshore and the bilge was cycling on every 5 minutes. Any idea where the water could be coming from?

Taking on water

I had similar issue on my '01 2870 CC. The seal around the stern oval plate on the inside of transom was the cause. Remove old seal and recaulk 5200 (??) type sealant. Hope this helps.

That would be a lot of water to be coming in through a deck plate. I would suggest you take a good look at all your through hull fittings and attached hoses, looking for cracks that can leak especially when in any chop or when people are on one side of the boat causing it to list.
