3000 Express Rudder Repair

Update on this. Polished the best I could, filled the rest with JB weld and polished smooth. Changed the seals.

I've had no leaks since.

Merc 350 Horizon Fuel Pumps

My engines have the Cool Fuel Gen 3 modules. They are mounted on the starboard side of the engines and of course the starboard pump failed. Changed pumps with Merc parts. Pump is noticeably quieter than the other now. Problem solved. Broke 3 or 6 bolts off and had to drill them out and helicoil to f...

The fuel pump module was out of the boat at the time.

3000 express water in cabin

You are most likely dealing with a combination of leaks, water in aft steering compartment can end up in the cabin…. Try these simple observations before anything. Port side On the Port side your leak is most likely from the windscreen or the engine room. Look below the wiper motor on the windscreen...

1995 Pursuit 3000 Fuel tank leak

Diesels return the majority of the fuel they pump to the engine back to the tank,take the deck caps off and have a look at the return/supply hose fittings on top of the tanks.
