fuel delivery problems
Had a factory service mechanic check out the boat and he made sure all of the fuel valves were in the proper position ( which is where they were to start with)
Visually check lines and they appear to run according to the schematics.
Had fuel topped off. Took boat out and still only pulls from the starboard tank. Also starboard engine would not run over 3500 rpms.
Any thoughts???

fuel delivery problems
I had an issue recently, which I could not figure out, and the Yamaha mechanics kept thinking it was a filter issue. I kept asking questions, until one of the mechanics mentioned that on rare occasions, the fuel line for a motor, may get pinched when you are reinstalling the cowling. That may explain why your motor is not running at proper rpm.
Something really simple, but make sure when you put the cowling back on, you route the fuel line away from the cowling gasket.... it cost me a lot for that lesson!

The take-away here is that human error can create interesting problems, so go through the entire system double-checking even the obvious.
