2260 Denali - Ontario Canada

Although the ice is still on the bay, I just purchased a 2260 Denali with a 4.3 Merc, Bravo 3. Interested in hearing from anyone who has the boat and anything I should be looking out for.

I looked at a few but ultimatley bought a 2460 with a Mercruiser 5.7LX efi, Bravo III becasue I decided to keep it in rack storage and I found a nice one.

I really like the 2260. If I had found a nice one when I was looking I would own one now I'm sure.

Good luck and enjoy. Too bad spring is so far away

Cheers!

Oh and things to look for. Bravo III's can have corrosion issues. Make sure you replace the zincs. If you dont know the history change the impeller in the raw water pump and pull the exhaust elbows, remove the gaskets and make sure the mating surfaces on the manifolds and elbows are straight and not erroded. Replace the gaskets with Mercruiser OEM gaskets (not the cheap aftermarket ones).
