I would like to know more from current owners about their experience with the OS315 and taking it off shore. I live on Long Island sound and would like to take it to BlockIsland andMartha's Vineyard. Your thoughts are welcome. Thanks, Mike

I have a 2011 Pursuit 315 OS and am very pleased with the boat and its performance. I fish 60 miles offshore. In the morning, I have to go through about 20 miles of "Charleston Chop". Confused leftover waves from the previous day's seabreeze, generally a against a stiff current. The 315 handles it as well as my previous Tiara 38. The boat is plenty fast enough and fairly economical, but I can slow it down if conditions require, something not all outboards are happy doing.
