I have a 2001wa 2470 and the fresh water pump for this in on the starboard side in stern. Pull the fish box and there you should have access to all pumps. Buckeye2

2470 Fresh water pump?

Thanks Buckeye, found the Owners Manual online and the schematics show it under the console in the head area. The raw water pump is in the area you describe, in by the batteries on starboard side. I guess they decided the fresh water pump was better up by the tank. PITA to work in that head area though!
