thru hull transducer

Postby John » Mon Jun 03, 2013 7:49 pm

I just purchased a 2003 Denali 2670 LS and want to put a 1k watt in the hull transducer and was wondering if there was any problem in doing so? I really don't want to put that big black thing on the transom. I have a Garmin 740s .I'm thinking airmar164. I am also missing the drop box that fits under the rear seat next to the bait well.Dose anyone know where I can find one?

I have a 2460 with the garmin 5oo series. Put in the in the hull model...from the garmin store...and it works perfect. Just used silicon to mount the housing, filled with antifreeze and it's good to go. Just clean the hull well before mounting. Mine is in the engine box.
