99 Pursuit express 3000 stereo wiring
I have a 99 pursuit express 3000. There has never been a stereo installed. I found where the wiring go to above the hanging locker and found the 2 speaker locations in the cabin. I could not find a wiring diagram as to which wires are what for the stereo. I do know which 2 are for the cabin speakers. Does anyone have any wiring info for the stereo and also is there other locations on the vessel in the helm and cockpit where there maybe speaker wiring or such? I looks as though I will probably have to run my own wiring and cut holes though to me. Thanks for the help!

Not sure on pre wires but I have 2 speakers on rear deck 2 in helm area and 2 down below. Amp is behind the aft dinette seat. I found my power for the stereo and amp comes from the breaker on the tabs bock that is for the forward and aft bilge pumps(need to get those moved still just haven’t had time.

If you do have to run wires you won't need to drill holes, there is plenty of room to push the wires through behind the 5' air con hose on the starb side.
Running the new wires thru the engine room will be challenging.

What in the world would cause them to pull power from the bilge pump breakers and through the stereo breaker on the panel. I still have yet to figure that one out…

Where did you move the power wires to? Did you put a new breaker in tabs box? It is on my list of things to get done it just fell down the list with the transmission project this winter

I installed a multi pump system, power comes from the main terminals on the tabs box, through 3 large circuit breakers (one for each battery) into a separate panel with individual circuit breakers for each pump.
Its all located where the battery charger was originally installed from new
