Hi friends, I'm happy to join this community. My boat is a 2008 310C, and it's the first "serious" boat I own. Unfortunately she has are some age-related problems and american boats are somewhat peculiar for local mechanics making it difficult to obtain good results. I hope to find suggestions and knowledge from you.

Any suggestion by your side will be highly appreciated!

Bye

Riccardo

I have several, but I'd begin with this: my 310C has no anchor windlass at all and because of family use I'd like to have it. I searched the internet for aftermarket installation but I found nothing. The original system is very nice and I'd like to reproduce it. How can I proceed in your opinion? I noticed in some photos that there's a sort of base and that the winch (I couldn't say the model) is secured on it. Is it possible to buy that base?
And, in your opinion, is it "safe" to drill the hull to pass the anchor through?
Thanks a lot for your answer

Riccardo

Lets move this over to the General Repairs and Maintenance forum. Post some pictures of your bow. Is the boat wired for a windlass?
