I have owned a 2870 Walkaround for the last six years. I am pleased with the Boat and the Yamaha 225 four stroke engines. I have had some problems with the Jabsco Pumps and Macerator but fixed them and do a better job of winterizing them now.

My current problem is that the vinyl headliner in the cabin is loose and seems very difficult to repair. I am looking for hints from anyone who has experienced this problem. It looks like the way the headliner was attached at manufacture was very cheaply done. Only a few anchor points were used in the bow and they are so far under the headliner that it is impossible to get a stapler with mylar staples or screws with gramots to fasten the headliner and replace the failed connectors.

Does anyone know how to go about fixing this? What has to be done to take the headliner assembly down so it can be repaired? Thanks, Ernie
