Looking forward to being part of the forum. I've got an OS285 [moved to Pursuit from Grady] which I use in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia for fishing and cruising from Seattle to Northern Vancouver Island. It's got a Garmin touch screen with integrated radar, chart plotter, and sonar - an incredible piece of electronics.
Found the boat in Virginia and bought it through the dealer on Lopez Island [Island Marine Center]in the San Juans ~ they have been outstanding to deal with!

Welcome to PBO! Great boat you have, may she serve you well. Funny I am looking at a boat in Seattle and I am in NY, what did it cost to ship home?

Welcome to the forum. I have spent some time running an OS285. It's an outstanding boat!

Thanks for the welcome Mark ~ I paid $6975 from Chesapeake Va to Lopez Island Wa. That included ferry from mainland to Lopez Island which added about 10%. I used Flagship Specialized Shippers of Kitty Hawk NC [Brian Krantz 360 468 3377]. He was on time for pick up and would have been for delivery except for a snow storm that held him up for a day. He took good care of the boat - I was able to track his progress in real time on line. I found him using Uship.com. On this site you put in the specs of what you have to be shipped and truckers bid on it and like ebay you can read reviews of past customers. Good luck!

I am also a 285 OS owner based on Vancouver Island. I have had my boat for two seasons. Love to chat with you about your boat and your experience with this machine. Thomas
